The Muslim Student Association (MSA) along with Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC) co-sponsored the event at California State University Long Beach. The topic was "Our Common Lineage: Abraham and Jesus." I spoke first from the Biblical perspective and then Hisham Mahmoud spoke second from the Islamic perspective. I not only had a great experience, but heard a story for the first time which would propel me forward into greater dialogue and cooperation between Christians and Muslims.
The story was about Ashama ibn Abjar, emperor or najashi of Abyssinia. Read More. |
